Let's forget all the ill-feeling, all the bad memories and remember all the sweet memories among us.
In this day of sacrifice let's sacrifice all those ill feeling and bad memories in the alter of sacrifice.
And get recharge for the struggle ahead which will be worth fighting.
Eid Mubarak to you all.:D:)
Sacrificing is a very hard practice and one need to have big and brave heart to perform this.
Today, a great number of Muslims will perform this sacrifice.
Let us fulfil the demand which is needed for performing that ritual of sacrifice.
Sacrificing is not a happy matter but let it be so; lets sacrifice to please God.
I wish you all a happy eid day ahead.
Eid Mubarak again.

Just fall prey into sledging by the opponents in a cricket match a few minutes ago!
I was all prepared to bat well(apparently to me!) but few of my
opponent players throw some sledging words and my confidence shaken. In
addition Cricket pitch was quite unknown to me for couple of years or
4/7 years I forgot!
I'm bowled out without scoring a run. Not
honored with a 'Golden Duck' this time but probably a 'white', 'black'
or 'red duck'(if there any!)
My worse performance with batting continued!
I missed my days in the primitive part of my childhood when I was a
star batsman in the galaxy of a small(!) circle of little(!) boys!
Tonight I've proved that I forget batting and I'm not meant for
Cricket; the patience and expertise needed to be a batsman is just
missing in me.
Footnote:
A cricket match was going on in a mini stadium in Berakhula, our neighboring village.
I'm being forced or influenced by my sportsman cousin Babu, who is a
champion swimmer, alrounder cricketer, a good footballer and who is
surely a big star than me to play cricket tonight. Gone there and my
turn come to bat as a middle order and I was successful to face 4 balls
and I've seen my stumps fall pathetically!
I was determined to
field well and my performance was worse there as well. I just missed to
check two balls to cross the boundary for 4!
Luckily load shedding saved me from further shame in Cricket!
Lets celebrate this failure tonight. Who knows when I'll get such time to celebrate failure in the field!
Vacations
are good for adventure, taking adventures, celebrating adventures or be
a part of adventure. Those who are in relationship with book, no other
company would be as effective as books!
So I made a little adventure into the world of Mark Twain.
You can also be a little part of my big adventure. Try if you can catch
little drops from the small cup I filled from the ocean of Mark Twain.
Here is a brief review of 'Tom Sawyer'.
'The Adventures of Tom
Sawyer' which is shortly known as Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain (1835-1910) ,
whose almost forgotten or rarely mentioned name was 'Samuel Langhorne
Clemens' is actually an adventure loving book, perfect for the children
or adventurous teenager and for the young and old people like us who
carry their childhood and adventurous spirit intake with them in their
youth, middle ages and even later part of their lives or to call in an
unfashioned way old lives!
It's a marking point or decision
point of old America and New America or industrial America. There we get
the last portrayal of the agrarian society which would in a short time
attain exceptional development in the field of science and technology,
the age which will be going to be brightened up with the presence of
Thomas Alva Edison and Henry Ford!
Mark Twain's writings gave the Americans a sense of the old world, lost days, forgotten past and a sense of lost values.

Enjoying heavenly times with my mother, my mentor and the guide in the last two hours:)
So many plans, discussions and dreams are playing together when we're in a peaceful meeting for the last two hours!
And she is quite amused with the idea of facebook and very happy to see
the pictures of my cousin Jakaria, who is making a tour in a place
'Mahamaya'!
While I'm writing this status she is observing my work!
Funny thing is that while I was visiting my wall there so many girls' pictures were floating!
So, natural question, 'who are they?'
I just made a clever or swiping answer, 'They all are not for me!'
October 12, 2014
Watching 'Children of Heaven' with family theater (laptop) at home!
And our guest of honor is my grandfather (and godfather, in a sense who
imprinted in me the very vision and dreams I'm carrying from my
childhood, a versatile personality whom I, in most of the cases try to
follow and emulate!) Ohab Ali Khondoker!
It's a movie as if
everyone is understanding! I thought I'll narrate the story but I'm
overtaken by my mother and little mother Sabina:D
They are understanding as if Persian or Arabian are their familiar dialect!
Tusi great hu Majid Majidi!
The morning show was also Children Film Show! As a operator I had to play 'Tare Jameen Par', 'Paa' and 'Charlie Chaplin'..
I didn't had to narrate or describe! All my little cousins and little ones were feeling themselves close to the story...
Now I feel myself retired. I've nothing to explain what is 'Children of
Heaven'. It's is such a movie every children will understand, may be
everyone will relate to!
What is my work now? I had better go to bazaar to taste the taste of the hot village politics with hot tea!
October 12, 2014
They say Bazaars are the worst places. But there are other sides as well!
Bazaars, for ages played the role for motherground for democracy, tolerance and perseverance.
It's a place where all the evil works conspired and discussed, it's the
place where all the good works thought out and germinate.
It's the place where people of different nature, families, villages and
classes intermingle. It's a place where you need to celebrate diversity
of all sorts; diversity of opinion, diversity of political parties,
diversity of religion, diversity of professions/occupations.
It's the melting spot, cultural hub, political battle ground.
It carries all the glories a village possess, it also carries all the frustrations and failures.
Very happy to be a part of a couple of good plans, brave initiatives, visionary settlements.
October 13, 2014
As if there is no pressure, no hurry, no tension to go to Dhaka. I'm
almost settled in my village, all my dear people are all around me and
getting their unconditional and sometimes conditional love from them.
If I don't go to city I feel I can go on well.
But city also houses some of my favorite personalities and I've developed a strong tie with the city as well.
Hence, I'm missing the city as well..
So many works are left behind..
I have to come to the city.. It is calling me..
October 14, 2014
After a lot lingering, wandering I'm planning to come to Dhaka. Yet I've
to take bath in slumber. Here I passed my times not in minutes, hours
or days rather with moments and incidents..
October 14, 2014
This time 'Asia' is not running towards Dhaka.
It is the turn for 'Tisha'.
I'm coming to Dhaka with Tisha:D
Yes. The first sentence is politically correct:D
Asia is moving it's attention to Dhaka.
And the time will come or probably knocking at the door the world will set its attention on Dhaka and they will run for it.
I'm at least as thirsty as Asia to give my focus on Dhaka.
NB:
'Asia' and 'Tisha' are the two leading bus services from Dhaka-Comilla-Dhaka.
Most of the time I prefer 'Asia'. In a sense 'Asia' achieved my consumer trust!
I don't have any grudge against 'Tisha'
Occasionally I make my journey with it as well.
I don't know what is the prehistoric reason to name this service as 'Tisha'.
But you will not be surprised to see bangla drama serials acted by Tisha in the TV of the bus.
This time they played 'Arman Bhai' of Jahid Hasan and Tisha.
There is probably no relation with actress 'Tisha' but the name has a
brand value. Even if the name was given after a close relative of the
owner/owners, it is a sign of their good business sense:D
